Dr. Seuss was a fine upgrade from Miffy as a child.

Thank you kelly, I noticed them early this morning. I really appreciated them, and smog's as well. I'm usually pretty good at noticing word repetition, but smog pointed out one paragraph where I missed it, and a couple other minor technical points I will incorporate. Many people have asked if this will be a part of a larger piece, but I'm not sure yet. Novels really aren't my forte, just poetry and short stories. I'd love to see a good screenwriter do a feature film from the piece though, once it's a bit more polished, and expanded a bit more.

No problem, Cav. It was pleasure to read it, and commenting just seemed natural. Anyway, good luck with fixing those technical points, and if you do ever add on to it, lemme know. (And luckily, I did an egosearch, or else I would have completely missed your post!)
