This production occurred about 20 years ago, and I'm looking for the title.
A beautiful femme fatale engages the friendship of a neglected, frumpy housewife only to find that the housewife's husband is having an affair. The Femme Fatale, on her own, murders the husband of the Housewife, and then expects help in murdering her own husband.
@coluber2001,
This sounds like a takeoff on Hitchcock's "Strangers on a Train", or the Danny de Vito and Billy Crystal comedy, "Throw Mama from the Train"
@oralloy,
Thank you for your imput on these PBS websites. I'm wading through all the past MT programs with fond memories, but have yet to find the one I'm after.
@coluber2001,
Fond memories here too. Oliver's Travels was the best thing I've ever seen. Heat of the Sun was pretty amazing too.
