One Step Forward, Two Steps back

I have been to the four corners of the universe
all in search of you.
But every time, it seems i'm a step behind
so I skipped a day and ran all the way just to say
'I love you'
but I find cold hearts and colder shoulders.
So here I travel till the end, never a plan
just a will and a dream that keeps me going.
But someday, you'll be mine, and my searchs will be over
but until that day,
i'll travel those same four corners of the universe
again and again still a step behind

You may not know this, but we found out that the universe doesn't have corners. Incidentally your poem is outdated and a bit silly.
