Anybody wanna read and rate some poems?

k guess what I'm gonna post a poem so here it goes:

Why?
Soft in the darkness the moonlight will creep,
Silently the stars will brighten the sky,
Into a puddle of darkness she'll leap,
To forget it all is what she will try.
Not to remember the things she had been told,
And pretend it was all just a dream,
To memories of the past she will hold,
"But why did this happen to me?" she'll scream.
What did I do to deserve your deceit?
Why do I feel this suffocating fear?
Why must I always suffer such defeat?
Why face it all with a smile not a tear?
To keep all these feelings inside of me,
If only I could let go and be free.

in the future, you do not need to hesitate to share your work. there are a lot of people who share here and you don't need to ask for permission nor approval.

on your poem...

i think you had a great start. the creeping moon, silent stars, leaping into the puddle of darkness...this is magic.

at the start of "but why did this happen to me", it seems like a new poem starts...one which I do not like nearly as much

on the first half, it will sound better if you change the order of the lines beginning with "and pretend" / "to memories"
