You're insane

One minute i'm happy
the next i'm sad
soon I have rage
i'm so fricken mad
I'm smashing you
you're bleeding
I keep smashing you
You're pleading
"You're insane,
You're insane"
Uncontrolable need to hurt
To make you feel how I do
It's wrong, but I am wrong
I'm an animal trapped in a cage
I am captured by my own self
The next place is sleep
and then there is peace
I will rest.

Have you ever thought about writing song lyrics for Eminem? I'm serious and not mocking your poetry at all. It is very vivid and speaks straight from the heart....

People don't write lyrics for Eminem, he writes his own, which is what he is famous for!

Yeah...I know. But Stand Up's poem reminded me so much of many of Eminem's lyrics. Straightforward and raw, just telling it like it is. I like Eminem because of his style and music. I'm not sure how many other "over 40's" folks might agree with me, but that's just me. Smile I was actually very honoured awhile back when a group of my 20-something year old co-worker guys asked me to attend and Eminem and Limp Biskit concert with them.

That all aside, I still like Stand Up's poem. Smile

Seed...I did. Smile After that I was "down" with my homies and they never looked at me strange again when I'd walk into the breakroom singing along to Shaggy on MTV singing "It Wasn't Me" or any other song for that matter. After that I became their "go to" lady for any advice they needed. We had this trust thing now you know. We were tight. Smile
