Need Help Identifying Art from a CD, Signature illegible, but looks to be from 1981

I've linked the CD cover. I've tried magnifying the signature and whatnot. There is no credit for the artist listed in the booklet.

It certainly seems like the last two characters say "81".

I'd guess the start of the first word is either S or M. Attempts to find the last name as Bynum or Byron were unsuccesful.
