PREACHERS WORDS

Raging winds,
Thunder in the sky,
Trees shiver and tremble,
Just a boy,
I must get home,
Thats when i seen the light,
I must take shelter,
Voices singing,
The little mission,
Preacher a welcome look,
Bible stories,
I sit and listen,
Only came in,
From the rain,
But a friend i found,
His words strong and caring,
No more the sounds of thunder,
The fear was gone,
On week days,
And Sundays,
Once again through those,
Safe doors.

Child-like fear. Lonliness. Strength of companionship. Trust. Nice sequence of thought, Joe. Excellent poem!

I wouldn't change a word, but might suggest dividing it into small stanzas, to give it some visual impact, and to emphasize and seperate each individual thought.
