Klev's q, https://able2know.org/topic/379352-1

...reminds me: What's the easiest way to fish a plastic pen from a toilet

Yes, no, I'm serious. Meantime it's cheaper to flush several times for 136 years than to hire a plumber even once

No. flushes reqd depending on size of job
You misread than'n din't you

However only 1 req'd if you let it sit for several hours
No pun intended

If you do hire a plumber he will use a tool called 'snake' that will scratch its inside, repair equivalent to 534,668 extra flushes

@dalehileman,
I've had some good luck with a new kind of plunger: A rubber cylinder projects at the bottom to cope with various shapes of bowl
Apparently then I've shifted the object further down wher it's not so much trouble. The new plungers are black but unlike they first appeared, this'n hasn't stained the bowl--yet

There is an early thread here from around the time I moved to Albuquerque. I was careful re money but some still flew out the window for things I thought the house needed. I've done physical remodeling, knowing a fair amount re construction, but not lately doing it myself.

The thread was about that my brand new toilet from home depot, installed by my contractor and his helper, was immediately clogged. It turned out there was a child's rubbery toy stuck somewhere in the S. I think it was his helper that fixed it. Foo on Home Depot for not checking out return items and then re-selling them. No, I didn't go whine at them, I was too busy.
The contractor, recommended by others, is very long gone, and the helper is a friend of a bunch of us on A2k.

@dalehileman,
Its is possible to try using the "snake" plumbing tool yourself. The DIY method can also be tried and if at last, if the problem still persist, it is highly recommended to hire a plumbing new jersey professionals.
