You hurl you judgments my way
They land on indifferent ears
Your praises are unwanted
Emotions are all I hear

Contempt is not so easily,
Disguised by flowery words
A silence that echoes for ages says,
We're part of different worlds

I can't speak for littlek, but I had thought your poem was a response to our words of encouragement, and that you were irritated.

Glad to see I was mistaken.

It does effectively get across an emotion of contempt, which I take it you were going for.
