I wonder sometimes if I'll be remembered when I die

I wonder sometimes if you really about me

I wonder sometimes if in this life I'll ever have a true friend
I wonder sometimes if this life is worth all the pain
I wonder sometimes if I ever left an impression on you

Did you know that I always think about this?
Did you know that I always want to be with you?
Did you know that I always wanted to be the first thing on your mind when you wake up?

I wonder sometimes if we'll be friends when we're eighty years old
I wonder sometimes if I'll be able to remember all the good times
I wonder sometimes if I'm just another person to you

When we're in college, do you think that we'll stay in touch?
When we're so busy with our own lives, do you think that we'll still talk on the phone?
When we're so immersed in our jobs, do you think that we'll notice that we're slipping away?

I don't want to forget my childhood
I don't want to forget our inside jokes
