She's dropped the "fine jewelry" line and is now concentrating on more affordable stuff. Since her background is in business, not craftwork, I would be very surprised if she had any direct role in manufacture or design. She probably has buyers who look around for good quality designs and she selects the ones that she feels represent the style she wants, maybe suggesting a few changes to reflect any personal signature.

In 2007 she formed a partnership with a diamond vendor, Dynamic Diamond Corp., to create Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry.

I guess her value added is the Trump name.

I didn't realize that in 2007 Donald Trump was so well known as to cause people to buy jewelry that they wouldn't have otherwise purchased.

If I had any, I would hurl it into the trash where it belongs.
