Memory sands drift in the desserts of dreams
Winds of thought twist and twirl about
My innerbeing walks in this waterless graveyard
I search for the answers with my tounge swollen big
The sun of ignorance burns my skin
Coals of the one mind is under my feet
If I continue I will meet my end
But hold, I see a pool
Green trees of knowledge with fruit to spare
The waters of wisdom in abundance
The sands of memory sprouts into soft green grass
I have found my refuge and my rest
I Inch my way toward my heaven
I find it gone, barren and burnt
My faith is dropping and my life is leaving me
I see the night in middle day
My knees meet the ground in the crash of failure
A lifetime of searching all in vain
The end is always the saddest truth...
i like this alot flee... just the first line messes with me though... maybe you could do "like sand, memory" just what i think though. but oh man i really like this poem. Good job.
Thx man....I will take note of the first line....
This one is like a puzzle. Well scripted, but I need some time to decypher.
