Has anyone seen or even heard of this movie. The "coming attractions" trailer is showing at the movie theatre we go to in Cali. Looks lke it was made by Americans, Japanese and Colombians and is about the "wild west" style emerald business in Colombia.
It's from 2002 so isn't in our theaters. I'm about to resubscripe to NetFlix as it's lowered it's montly fee and the IMDb user rating is pretty good considering it's a documentary:

Have you ever seen the old Cinemascope film "Green Fire?" It's a drama about emerald mining in South America starring Stewart Grainger and Grace Kelly (yet!)

2002 egad! So they're going to start showing old flicks at Cinecolombia, jeez! Anyway thanks for the "Green Fire" tip.
What can I say? I used to love the reshowing of older foreign films at cinemas like LA's Vogue Theater but if they tried to pass this off as new without there at least being a film festival...well...
