First, let's decide
what emphasis
to use today.
WHAT is life.
What IS life.
What is LIFE.
One shouldn't
get bogged down
in semantics though.
This poem is simple,
This poem is obvious.
This poem is life,
just because I say so,
just because it is.
Hehe - cute and quite original! I put your book in the mail today, sorry for the delay. Hey! That rhymed!
Love it, Cav. and in response:

I'm particularily fond of the second stanza, as it reads 'what is life' vertically and diagonally as well. I have to admit, this was just one of those 30 second toss-offs, but a very zen moment.
lol Letty :-) I am in the states for the next two weeks. Are we there yet???
Oh, my gawd, Cav. DTs?
Well, Kelly, where in the states did you get there?

Well, upon my word. Gus ain't half bad, is he. Something tells me that he could write a 14 carat poem should he care to do so. I really wish Deb would write poetry.
I consider everything gus posts as original writing.
Absolutely, Cav, no matter how frivolous. I really think he's thumbing his nose at the world.
I also think that Setanta could write impressive poetry.
Whoever Baz is, he/she alarms me, but I do know this. When someone has irrevocably decided to do the deed, there is no stopping them. Usually, this type behavior is a cry for help.
I am in rainy Maryland at "The Fort". Rainy just like North Yorkshire... Just the accent and girths are different :-)
Kelly, do you know that the first airplane ride that I ever took in my life was to Maryland? I was always petrified of flying, and of all things, it was right after 9/11. I did not have one moment of fear. Isn't that odd? The only apprehension was getting from concourse to concourse.
