At the DOS prompt you can always start at C: and work your way up until you find it. It is probably C: [if your hard drive partition is NTFS, as DOS won't be able to read it] or D:. Where'd you get the drive letter G: from?
The drives you see in DOS will not necessarily use the same drive letters assigned to them in Windows.
After Fdisk and formatting the drive---> boot from the floppy and do this dude. :-()
At the a:\ type c:
then type md c:\win98 Then (enter)
from here typer cd win98
then type copy e:\win98/e
You will have it all if you
get 101 cab files copied .After confirmation remove the win98 cd and the floppy from the drives and type the word setup and press (enter)
*********Check it ----> Replace the letter e with whatever your computers cd rom drive would correspond to. Its as simple as I can make it ,and if the cdrom is working you should have no problem .
