I would like to lodge a formal protest! Where is the formal protest lodging department in this place anyway?! Can someone tell me where to find the Office of The Official Lodging of Protests of A2K Contests?!

i *think* that's why i wanted people to indicate a time if they picked a day someone else already took.

Oh, right, I was thinking it was December 2nd today when I made the suggestion above. Duh. So to be more precise:
If it reaches 50,000 between now and midnight, Shewolf.
If it reaches 50,000 between midnight tonight (12/1) and noon tomorrow (12/2), Shewolf.
If it reaches 50,000 between noon tomorrow (12/2) and midnight tomorrow (12/2), CL.
If it reaches 50,000 between 12:00 AM 12/3 and 11:59 PM 12/3, CL.
(Really looks like it'll hit by then, don't you think? Agree that it might be by midnight tonight, in which case it's Shewolf, nice and clearcut.)
Is that number read automatically by a maschine or by humans? I mean, perhaps some might consider recounting it, if it really comes very close.
