When I look at A2K in the morning BST, there's normally about four or five on.

That's about 30-35 every week, it all adds up.

And I never said anything about anybody being a loser.

Nothing is going on. That's the situation. Just remember Seattlebuzz. We seem to be a small but active group. What graph I want to see is the one that describes how twenty or so of us generate 90% of posting.

Yeah. I started at Abuzz...NY Times and Boston Globe sponsored. It was GREAT...and with lots and lots of participation.

Seems like participation has dropped off a bit here, but still fairly active. Some people do post and initiate posts more than others...and I admire them. Some piss and moan all the time...and, actually, I admire them also. Without the people who do lots of pissing and moaning...lots of stuff that needs changing will never get changed.

I must have been mistaken about whatever it was I read that caused me concern.

Damn! It is only September...and I was hoping my first mistake this year would come later.

For the first day, I used 8/20/2002, which is more or less accurate, and a starting number of members of zero, which isn't quite right, but who's counting?

Oh, and overall? It's 8,204 days since 8/20/2002, with an average of 487.57 new members/day. The last 5 years, and particularly the last 2, have really jacked up the numbers.
