@cicerone imposter,
An awful lot. I was surprised how uniformly old we are: at least 80% of us have to be over 50.

Some came back.
Sounds like a movie title.

I'm glad to see many thoughtful people back, generally being able to discuss/argue, without insults.
I don't include myself, a sometime failure at that, but I think of sane discussion as the backbone of this place, with the nerve network including a humor aorta.

I hope to resolve my computer issues soon (not a2k/the mods fault).

@bobsal u1553115,
I was fortunate to have met two quality members of a2k who I have called friend, but who have passed: Cavfancier and Andy.

@Lash,
My wife and I were fortunate to have a private meal prepared for us by Cav in Toronto where he matched the dishes with the wines. It was a special treat I'll remember for as long as I'm alive.
My memory is a bit hazy, but if I remember correctly, Cav won a cooking contest not long before that meal.

I knew him by phone and snail mail. He really was a nice guy who played a bit rough sometimes.

@Lash,
I have been fortunate to have met many people through a2k. Many have become my friends.
I have friends in Canada, Moscow, Mexico City, Manchester, London, Lippstadt, Sydney, and all across the US.
