Registered members is up to to 66,678. I don't know where to set the target for the next contest. 67.000, 68,000, 70,000. Boring.

Total posts when I logged on at 10:30 pm ET 1/17 was listed as 2,447,217.

Let's guess for the date and time of 2,500,000.

The winner gets:
1) A quiet dinner with Craven, but you have to pay for it because he doesn't have any money (which I would consider an honor) or
2)
3)

The number 27 keeps bouncing around the inside of my head, also. I can't think why that is.
I am thinking 11:27 PM ET on Valentine's day with a post from some state like Montana expressing unconditional love for Gus.
I am going to have to re-check my math before I make that my pick, though.

Due to the A2K problems, a lot of posts didn't get posted. I am going for 3/29/07 as being the 2,500.000th post and it will be by an Aussie.

'sgunna be today (prolly).

But that'd be 1 March, as it is here - or 28 February - as it is there. Although it might be 1 March there before the number turns over.

As I remarked elsewhere, we need to find those New Members.

Are the bets placed for 70,000?

If not, I back High Noon on May Day.
