Irelands soul, life and strength,
Derived from stout and patriotic icons.
Our nation built with blood and sweat-

In a modern epoch of destitute,
Disrespect and abuse,
Abuse of church,
Abuse of state,
Abuse of nationhood,
Abuse of liberty,
The days of old are dead.

Our nation, filled with decadence.
