Mold concern after wet vacuuming floor

I'm unemployed and live with my parents who I am very lucky to have. Even though they do not understand me, I love em dearly. I've been living as a recluse for about 5 years now... my shyness, increasing blindness, and undiagnosed allergy to mold prevent me from enjoying or seeking a normal and happy life. I say 'undiagnosed' because I have no insurance to seek a specialist, but I know it's all mold-related.. my body hates mold.

Well I've recently done something at home that I may quite possibly regret for many years to come. I water vacuumed my bedroom floor, and I may have damaged the carpet area underneath by cleaning it a little too heavy. I am not savvy enough with carpentry to know what damage I may have caused, or even the extent. I went over the carpet twice in a 48hr period; the first time I used 2 gallons of bottled water, then decided to go over it again later with 4 gallons of scalding hot water from the tap (for good measure). I'm a little OCD about these things. I sucked up lots of water, but know that I probably could have sucked up a little more than I did. I let it air dry by fan overnight.

24 hours later I resumed living in there again, and even though the floor looked fine and dry, the room began to give off a certain smell, where I started to experience some familiar mold symptoms like muscle twitches, facial swelling, and nausea. To make matters worse, there is a finished basement floor underneath (with canned lighting), where my parents mostly reside. I'm having the same symptoms down there, and a little worse, but no appearance of water damage to the sheetrock in the ceiling. I wasn't sure if I was safe living in this environment, so I began moving all my belongings into a separate room.. the smell is still airing out of my laptop.

I brought this concern up to my parents, yet they do not believe me and even a week later appear to be completely unphased. They think I'm crazy, and the problem will likely go unfixed. The thought is horrifying me, as I have been feeling non-stop nausea whenever I am in the vicinity of that forsaken room. I don't know what to do. I want to leave the house entirely, but don't have anywhere to go, or money for that matter. I don't want to leave my parents or belongings behind, especially after something as simple and innocent as cleaning some carpet. Right now I'm just waiting it out, in hopes that one of them will fall ill and possibly wake up. I need some third-party advice on what I should do to handle this miserable situation. At the moment I feel like I'm living a very low quality of life.

@Double44,
It might be the cleaning fluid or any number of things.

Either way, you say you are 'undiagnosed'. So go to a doctor and get diagnosed. While you say you cannot go to a specialist, you can go to your primary care physician. If nothing else, your parents should be on board with that.

@jespah,
You mention the cleaning fluid and I had some concern over that too, but didn't think much about it given that I used hot water. I used a year old vacuum cleaning solution that had Oxiclean in it, and it still retained its smell. It looked okay and smelled normal, but I couldn't tell you much more beyond that, in terms of potency etc.

I do have some straight Oxiclean in powder form, would it be worth going over the floor again with that? I don't know where the mold is coming from, but if it's taken to the carpet itself, it might not be a bad idea. I just don't want to give the mold, wherever its located, any more moisture.

I've been to a primary care physician, they can't do much except prescribe anxiety drugs. It's not that my parents aren't on board, got to have the money first, which is not easy to come by.

Everyone around here stinks, the smell is continuously getting tracked throughout the house, and it scares the hell outta me. Nobody except myself appears to be suffering from the smell, but I don't know how long that will continue. It all feels like a death sentence waiting to happen, and I don't know what to do. I do feel like I may have to finally get out there and get a job, persevere until enough money is gathered to actually do something about this. I started this after all, but I have concern for myself in whether I can actually make that happen.
