The fact that you can write about your writer's block indicates your muse has not abandoned you! Nice work!

Just a thought....use the lost muse as metaphor, express your frustration. Post a new piece. 20 minutes, man, you write quickly, I do too. I only examined the idea of editing recently.

lol, half the things i write i write in 5 minutes but its all just roughdraft..then i post them and every once inawhile i go back and change it..i dont usually write poetry..my first poem i wrote in 1st grade ..
"The sun lights up the day so we can go out and play, the moon shines at night to keep things in sight."
and i havent written anything until recently when i felt compelled to write..but now it seems my creativity is lacking, hopefully it will pass..i'll ponder the whole metaphor idea..see what i can come up with lol, thanks for the tips and lyrics :-P

I wrote this when I was at the same crossroads:
My pen leaks,
and then dries up.
My tears are in arrears,
my laughter muffled
by the cobblestones of living.
My pen leaks
on the pavement
in circular, silent drips,
no splatter of excitement,
just a sign
of a slow, self-inflicted death.
My pen forgives me
surprisingly,
for leaking,
and says, "Sorry for the wounds,
I was poking you in the hope
that you would wake up."
