SP2 for XP, I can connect to internet, but can't browse

I have XP Pro, just got SP2. I have a dial-up internet connection, and it connects to the internet fine, i.e., it shows the internet connection icon in the task bar, but it won't let me view any web page.

I con't know how to fix this. Please help.

If you have any firewall or Zone Alarm installed, then shut it down and try to browse the internet.
