A strange thing happened after the page rank updation. Most of the sites only had the page ranks of internal pages updated, the homepages did not show any alteration in their ranks. Any others who experienced similar things? and any idea why?
That's normal. You pagerank simply didn't update.
When pagerank "Updates" it doesn't mean it will go up, or even change. It can go down, or remain the same.
Pagerank updates just mean Google updates the general data available to users through the toolbar.
