i have this MIDI keyboard that i bought quite a few years ago. it only has one slot which can be connected thru the joystick slot on my computer.
i don't think that at that time, USB was even invented.
so i am just wondering if there is such a cable that connect this joystick slot on my MIDI keyboard to a USB slot?
also is there any MIDI keyboard that can be connected to laptops? i have this software that teaches how to play piano.
Here's a DB-15 to USB adapter:

...But without it being a sound card I very strongly doubt you'd be able to get MIDI working through it without some sort of software solution (which may or may not exist). Any sort of converter like that will likely only support joysticks.
Your best bet if your laptop doesn't have a built in game/MIDI port is probaby to go with an external sound card which supports MIDI input.
