@Frugal1,
At this point I don't have a dog -- er, snowflake -- in this fight. I just want a good laugh. Smile

@wmwcjr,
Soooo... you don't think I've been too rough with them?

They're always so polite and respectfull of other posters' point of view, they listen so carefully to what people say and they always try to respond in such a thoughtful and articulate manner, you know? With constant kind offerings of color crayons, wine and cheese and all that... I'm wondering if I haven't been a bit unfair to them snowflake catchers.

@wmwcjr,
I see plenty of laughs being generated by comments posted by A2K's liberal progressive democrats.

@Olivier5,
Nope! I don't think you've been rough at all. This ain't NPR.

I think our fellows are being playful. We've become a nation of kids. The rage on the Internet eventually results in a longing for comic relief. A2K delivers.

Oli has run off the rails, and deep into the weeds.
Is a rescue mission worth the risk?

@Frugal1,
It's the interactions that are funny. It takes two to tango and to make a good laugh.

(That's all for now. Unfortunately, real life beckons.)

@Olivier5,
I'm not a moderator or a leading member. I'm just an outsider lookin' for laughs.

@wmwcjr,
Absolutely, we may as well enjoy a laugh at their expense since they can't laugh at themselves.

Back to reality for me as well.
Take care.

@wmwcjr,
I was not implying you were. I just looked up the thread and saw some posts had been moderated. This didn't used to be the case some months ago when i last posted. They would ban people for a given time instead.

I think deleting single posts is more effective and more fair.

@edgarblythe,
Perhaps, but highly unlikely.

I'll take our chances, and you have to: "Elections have consequences John"

@giujohn,
I routinely appreciate your posts, but I would take it as a personal favor if you stopped using "libertards"

You say "liberal" as if it was a bad thing. The label originated as "liberal thinker". In other words "free thinker". You don't like that do you?
Anyway, FYI I've been a registered Republican for 32 years. I agree with the ideas of fiscal responsibility and limited government, although that doesn't seem to jive with what the Republicans have been doing for the past 20 years, at least not on the national level. None of this prevents me from being a free thinker. You should try thinking on your own sometime instead of regurgitating the propaganda you've been fed.

Somehow "liberal" got corrupted and applied to leftists. It's unfortunate, but it is what it is.

Actually Californians voted for Clinton by a very wide margin: 4 million

Take CA out of the mix and Trump wins the popular vote.

That's why we have the Electoral College.

There's some debate about Trump being a true American. He was elected by Putin, his wife can't speak proper English, and his mother was a Orang Utang.

Bottom line is: a majority of Americans voted for Clinton. It's only because the US democracy is fake that Trump is to become the pres.

What scurrilous nonsense...and from a Frenchman!

@Olivier5,
Of course they are, but no one would argue that they are not unique Americans. It would not be a good thing if they alone can determine a election. Every candidate for years to come would be promising them everything under the sun.

In any case it's a moot point. Both campaigns knew the rules going in.

Trump won the Electoral College, Trump will be our President. If Dems and one Frenchman don't like it...tough. The former can try and amend the constitution for the future and the latter can watch.

@Finn dAbuzz,
Texans are "unique". The Mormons in Utah are pretty "unique". Everybody's "unique", including you, honey.

All i am saying is that it ain't a democracy when the people vote one way and the presidency goes another way. That shouldn't be too hard to understand...

Oli hasn't learned that the USA is NOT a democracy, it was never meant to be a democracy.
