Looking for a title to an old movie in hope to see it again

I'm looking for the title from a movie out in the late 70s or early 80s... I remember... It's about an actress that gets older and her daughter that looks just like her starts playing her in movies and her fans think she is ageless... While portraying her mother she wears long gloves so no one can see her hands... The daughter gets tired of playing the mother in acting and throws herself in front of a train and dies... So now then the older actress sets thru her "own" funeral...

Any help sure would be rather helpful!!
