Got the reply. I'm on cable modem. I have several windows open, and can pick up e-mails, post replies, and listen to some fine music panzade sent me. It's wonderful.

Hey, thok. Somewhere along the line, hay is sown, is it not? I was just recalling a biology question that was on a pop quiz. The answer turned out to be plankton, but since I'm no agriculturist, I really can't refute your answer.

Of course hay is sown. It wouldn't grow into hay if it wasn't. It's a grass crop that is planted, reaped, then dried.

Hay is sown, but it will be not sowned. ;-)

and that is where the expression "make plankton while the sun shines" originates.

Wow! Yahoo is really slow today. I'm having trouble accessing my account.

Here's a riddle that is still unsolved, and I would appreciate any input. A response was deleted from this thread, and I am wondering if it would do me any good to ask about it in the Forum Help section.
