"Taking That Breath"
Yes, we "love because we have some degree of desire-for"
That "Nurturing Embrace" we find ourselves in when we are satisfied.
We love that good, warm, satisfying feeling we get after a good meal.
We love to curl up in a warm, safe nest
And breath a sigh of contentment.
We love to, on rare moments,
Share our thoughts and emotions with our "Soul Mate".
No, we don't hate desire.
Our desire to be satisfied is fleeting.
The fullness is used up, and we become hungry again.
We are driven from our warm nest, in search of sustenance.
"Time" finally separates us from our Loved Ones."
Only Death could bring that full satisfaction
And the removal of all desire.
Love only gives us that fleeting moment of fulfillment.
Like taking a breath of fresh air,
Desire is knowing that we must exhale,
So we can take another breath to live.
Desire is wanting to take that next breath,
So we can go on "Loving."
