Interesting problem, Crucifixation. There is a button on one of the toolbars that looks like "P", but with a double line for the upright. It shows and hides things like tab marks and spaces. See if you can find it, and try turning it on and off.Come back if that doesn't work.

I'll have to come back to this, cos this computer hasn't got Word on it and I need to have a play around, and it's gone midnight here and I need some sleep. I'll come back tomorrow and see if you've got it sorted. Take it easy.

Weird......if you close & open the document do they remain in the same locations? If you print the document do they show up on the hardcopy?

Have you tried going to HELP & clicking on the "What's this?" question mark... then hovering over the brackets?

Since tables do weird things, I'd see if those things were still there when you closed & then reopened the document, or copied it, or printed it.

You can also go to each of those table cells, delete & then reenter the data.

Was the data imported from Excel or somewhere?

when i opened the document in another computer, those things doesnt show, so it must be something wrong with the computer, not the document??

...or you have a different version of the software.

Some things about computers never do get explained. I think that's why so many experts know to turn a computer off, then on again, when things get dicey. Odd how often that "fixes" things.
