Life's crooked road

I watch your eyes as your watching mine
I listen to your cries as your listening to mine
My world is constantly twisting and turning
No longer can I see the road straight ahead
I left the light in childhood to walk amongst this darkness
And now I can see my lifes been misled
I feel your pain as your feeling mine
I smell your fear as your smelling mine
I fail once and I fail again
Through all this failure there seems to be no end
But I continue to try in hopes that tommorow
I'll find a way to end all this pain and sorrow
And then one day
I'll taste your victory as your tasting mine
