Actually went to the experts...and they were right..clown loaches LOVE snails...now, Im worried about momma..I mean..I dont want to put her in the new tank and lay eggs and have the same problem over there but, I dont want this guy to have her for dinner either.

I did this exact same thing.....with a fifty gallon tank. And it happened over a seventy-two hour period.
