flat face gazes upon me knowingly
he will not forget
because he will not remember
he will not judge, nor will he budge
his gaze is fixed, his colors mixed
smooth cheeks of chrome reflecting all
pursed lips that would not kiss
to his face, I could not lie
his slitted eyes they see no lies
he watches me and asks no why
I fine example of progressive modernist verse. Almost haunting - nice!
