Alone.

I can't just be alone anymore
because being alone means being with you
and maybe it's not all that bad
but we all need our space sometimes.

Some people, they hate the dark
but I feel quite complete
Because you can't see me
and you can't judge what you can't see.

Everybody keeps calling on the phone
I leave it off but still,
they don't leave me alone.
Please, I have nothing to offer.

And nothing feels the same anymore
You just don't understand.
I'm not me, and you're not you
and that's as far as I can see.

So let me be alone
and if that means you and me
then you can't judge
because you can't see
and no one will be calling on the phone.
