Yet another scorcher
of a day here in Melbourne, Oz <sigh> & my critters & I are helping each other through this nasty day. First, I collect any of the 3 moggies asleep outside, totally unaware that the temperature is becoming hideous. Place cats in various cool & comfy sleeping positions inside the house. Tuxedo cat doesn't even wake from his deep, deep sleep as I shift him. Mozz, my ancient female cat, follows me around like a shadow!: "Meow, meow, meow. Do something to make it cooler!" And poor, sick grey cat! ( I have been so worried about him being so sick, especially on the 112F (44C) day!!
) He has been sleeping for hours ... since I shifted him to the couch in the lounge room in the morning.
An unexpected snooze on the bed in the afternoon (heat stress, I wonder?) Mozz is right there with me ... purring furiously on my chest. She's SO happy! When I get up grey cat is still totally out of it on the couch. Tuxedo cat is now on my lap as I type this, enjoying the air conditioning. Heavy cat!
Cool change predicted for tomorrow. Phew! Survived another scorcher!
