There is an assignment that needs to be done and I can't find anything on capitalisnm. If anyone has any info on capitalism and the countries that use this system of government, I would most appreciate it.
Capitalist nations
Although not a necessity one can usually assume that if a nation is a republic or a democracy it is also capitalist. Here is a link that lists all of the world's democracies and republics for the year 2003. Ironically enough it is a list compiled by a Marxist (another economic system) site off the Central Intelligence Agency World Fact Book site.

One can also look up individual countries at the Central Intelligence Agency World Fact Book site to determine their type of government. Again if it is a republic or a democracy it is usually safe to assume it is also a capitalist nation. This should not be confused with how a country is named. For example The Republic of China actually has a communist economic system. The direct link is here:
