I need help with a riddle! Here is the riddle (it's like a series of numbers):
1, 2 = 9
3, 4 = 20
5, 6 = 12
17, 12 = ?
Please help! I've tried everything, but I just can't seem to find a suitable solution...
By the way I used to be a real active member heret two years ago...but that's all gone now...*sigh* good times ^_^. This is the only place I could think of of good riddle solvers.
Hi TGR!
I never told you at the time but I lived within a couple of blocks of where you go/went to school! (I've moved since.)
(Now I'll try to think of something... hmmm...)
I believe it is 54.
Look at the number of letters in the spelling of the numbers.
one(3) two(3) 3x3=9
three(5) four(4) 5x4=20
five(4) six(3) 4x3=12
seventeen(9) twelve(6) 9x6=54
Is there another riddle built in your 2nd post?
" I used to be a real active member here two years ago"
But according to your profile you joined in Apr 2003. Making it approx 18 months ago.
Do I win a prize?
Thanks markr, you're a genius!
soz: What!? Don't tell me you lived in Naperville, Illinois, soz! And wow, you still remember me?
