This began happening, out of the blue as far as I can tell, a few weeks ago.

I assume I did SOMETHING to make it happen - or that some sort of Windows update did something - but I have no idea what - and I can't figure out how to change it back.

Frankly, when it began to happen, it scared me a little - I wondered if the cosmos was trying to say something.....

Ahem... well - any help appreciated.

What are you using for an e-mail application? Outlook? Eudora? Hotmail?

On many you can go into the "Trash Can" and right click on one of the offending e-mails and tell the software not to consider them trash and it'll stop.

A few weeks ago, a friend send me some information that I needed by E Mail. I never got it. Subsequently I found that I had inadvertently placed her on the "blocked senders list" (goes right into deleted files) on my Outlook Express! Embarrassed

Gotta watch where you click! Very Happy

dlowan--

You ask such clear and cogent questions. I admire your enterprising approach to banishing ignorance.

Continue holding your dominion and extending mine.
