In 1978, which Australian said,
" We hope to make bigotry and prejudice as unfashionable as burning witches on a pleasant Sunday afternoon"
Steve Irwin! Talking about the bigotry and prejudice of some snippy snappy crocodiles, as you do.
Humm.. no not really.. he was just the first Australian blokey that popped into my head. Or maybe it was a woman!!??
I've got it - Dame Edna Everage!! ..oh no, wait.
In that case i'm afraid i'm stumped, dear smee. What a frightful shame that bee. Not a literal bee, I must have you understand.. I was merely accentuating the rhyme with smee. Glad we've cleared that up.
And not literally stumped either! Just in case you were mighty concerned for my welfare and were having visions of my being hammered into the ground by Groundskeeper Willie to become a fencepost.. or similar.
And when i say 'cleared that up' I dont mean a literal spillage, ok? Good.
I'll shut up now.. that would be a rather spiffy idea don't you think? Indeed I do.
