can anyone tell me why when i click on some links they dont open ???? usually happens in email that are sent to me and sometimes on certain sites...when i click the screen will flicker like it wants to do something but nothing happens

Well, without knowing more specifics, it's hard to say. What kind of links? what email program are you using? What operating system?
