Is life on Earth right to be interested in life on other planets?

Because if aliens on other planets are just forum users like us, or of videogames and theme parks, or like us have weekends and mortgages, isn't it right to wonder whether leaving Earth is worth it?

If the conditions are right in other galaxies, anything is possible. They may not look like humans, but probably evolved based on their environment.

It's rather obvious. How many people do you know who would get in from work, find aliens had just landed, and then immediately turn over to watch Coronation Street?
