Social Darwinism was a corrupted attempt to apply natural selection to human societies via eugenics and imperialism. That, since the best adapted in nature survive and reproduce more successfully, the best adapted human culture is the most powerful. This corruption was used to justify eugenics and the insanity of the 3rd Reich.
