I recently became reacquainted with the 2010 remake, and personally consider it a masterpiece; I doubt the upcoming Universal Monsters universe will match it in maturity.
What got me though is the ending: the Hopkins Wolfman actually looks like Hopkins, whereas the Del Toro Wolfman is able to look just like a hypothetical Wolfman - is this a coincidence, or is it artistry?
