what you reckon?

So i want to use new software for my mac (adobe after effects CC & trapcode MIR) but my old macbook pro mid 2012 doesn't have a GPU capable of rendering that kind of software. it only runs of a CPU graphics card (Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB) which is slow and crap.

So i plan to invest in a new laptop and i've been with apple for years so i reckon i'd just buy the new macbook pro 15inch with retina display and a AMD graphics card (AMD Radeon R9 M370X with 2GB of GDDR5 memory and automatic graphics switching) it's 2,000 but i could just spread the cost over a year in order to afford it.

My friends reckon i could go cheaper? i don't see it, so does anyone have any other suggestions?
