Blokes peel off pants for peace
More than 200 men have taken their clothes off for peace at Byron Bay.

Two weeks ago, more than 700 women went naked in a paddock in the hills behind Byron Bay to spread their anti-war message - yesterday it was the men's turn.

They used their nude bodies to spell out the words "Peace Man" on the Red Devils' football ground.

Protest organiser Cameron Sparkes-Carroll says they chose a football field because sportsgrounds are designed to maintain the fitness of men in peaceful times.

Mr Sparkes Carroll says he was not disappointed by the low number of men who turned up.

"As much as I would have liked thousands to have turned up, we...[had] 250 men here...and they are getting their message across to the national media that have come here," he said.

Yesterday's protest was joined by members of the comedy production, "Puppetry of the Penis".

Interestingly, or not, this latest protest hasn't been taken up by US news. It ran in scottish, aussie, and south african papers. One way-liberal organization rans the NO WAR protest done by the women down under.

Talking of women and peace, there were some pics of Elizabeth Hurley and a man in Saturdays London Daily Mail & El.Hurl is having a very serious snog. Tongues will be tongues and they will wag. I think she was snogging, not sp much for Peace as for a Piece.

if we make twice as many wars in the world,
would twice as many women be willing to get naked?

Probably not.

When I was in the RAAF, a girl told me about an incident during her basic training. At one point when their drill instructor screamed at them "What would you do if 10 000 F------ chinese came running over that hill there" They all dropped their guns and smiled.



They earned a few miles out of that.
