@izzythepush,
Does anyone remember Barney Miller? It was set in a police station? I loved that show. And for Edgar, I remember 'Topper', it still holds up well.

Someone asked where we see these shows, I get them on ME TV (memorable television) it's part of my cable package.

@izzythepush,
Izzy's, I'll have to look, but I don't think Hasselhoff has made to our shores. I hear that a movie is being made by the women from Absolutely Fabulous. The previews are a scream,

@izzythepush,
You have to love a guy who will participate in his own sendup.

@glitterbag,
It all started off with a documentary when a relatively unknown radio one DJ, Scott Mills, did a TV programme about David Hasselhoff. Instead of a Hollywood celeb he found a really genuine man and they remain friends. David Hasselhoff did a return trip over here to be shown around by Scott Mills. He was a genuinely nice bloke who had so much time for his fans, and was not at all egotistical.

For a long time he was seen as a bit of a joke, slightly kitsch and of mediocre talent. Instead of railing against that image he embraced it, which is what enamoured him to so many people over here.

This made me remember Get Smart. When Hyme played every sport in a competition.

I grew up watching Get Smart. Maxwell Smart using his shoe as a telephone. All of his funny lines. That Cone of Silence that never worked, because you they couldn't hear each other talk. That was funny.

Which post of mine reminded you of Get Smart?

@Real Music,
The Herman Munster one because of the sports angle reminded me of that particular episode I mentioned.
