Sarcastically I mean.
I'm not complaining,
I just wish you were around.
I thought friendship was a sacred thing,
But I guess it's just something to fill some time.
And now you have everything.
Someone to love, a new place to live; happiness.
Me, I'm still here, waiting.
Because I still look for the good in you.
The person you portrayed yourself to be.
standupforpessimism,
This poetry says a lot of what I sometimes feel about 'certain' people in my life, who have qualified.
I especially like the part about 'who you portrayed yourself to be.'
I'd like to add my own little prose:
Even what you think
You try to make come to pass
try to make my life
be ruled by your ass!!
It wont work, mole.
Just stay in your hole-
Your incessant digging wastes time,
And you try to waste mine.
You used the word 'love'
How sick can you be?
Doubting you have ever known love
I should feel sorry, but see....
After all of your shafting
And the spew you have spread
I have to be honest before God
and man... I pray you are soon dead.
Sounds vengeful, hateful, scornful?
It is a view of yourself- coming
Now, back to haunt you-
Nothing left.
Thanks! I like your aswell...hehe! How come you don't post poetry more often?
