Let me preface this by admitting that I have almost no idea what I am doing.

I have had a recurring IE hijacker "heretofind.com" and am able to delete it with hijackthis. It reappears each day and I must delete it again. I have just also deleted the broadjump CFD.exe that hijackthis has identified. I won't know until tomorrow if that worked.

I just tried to delete the entire broadjump file and I am denied access.

Go to RegEdit, click on Start, Run, type in RegEdit into the box, Click OK,
As you search for the entries below, Double check them to be sure your removing the correct ones, After found right click and delete
Using RegEdit, carefully remove the following registry keys:

Reboot to safe mode ( by tapping the F8 key on start up ) make sure you can View Hidden Files/Folders search for and delete the following in BOLD
c:\windows\start.chm
c:\windows\system32\c_10230.dll
:\Program Files\BroadJump\Client Foundation\CFD.exe

Restart your computer,

If you don't already make sure you have Ad-aware and it is updated
You can get it Here
Next Scan With Ad-aware
Under Ad-aware 6 > Settings (Gear at the top) > Tweaks > Scanning Engine:

check: "Unload recognized processes during scanning."

- Under Ad-aware 6 > Settings (Gear at the top) > Tweaks > Cleaning Engine:

Check: "Let Windows remove files in use after reboot."

Press "Scan Now"

- Check option "Use Custom scanning options"

- Check option "Activate In-Depth Scan"

- Press "Select drives\folders to scan"

- Select the active partition which is usually C:

Now press "Next" to let Ad-aware scan your drives...

It will find a number of "bad" files and registry keys.

Right-click in that pane and choose "select all"

Now press "Next" again.
It will ask you whether you'd like to remove all checked items. Click OK."
Reboot your computer,

Restart HJT, Scan, Save log and post back a fresh HJT log please

Broadjump
Broadjump is a fixit program installed by your DSL.
You really have an easy way to fix your problem.:
Filename: CFD.exe
Name: CFD

Description: BroadJump Client Foundation. Broadband troubleshooting software installed by various companies. Not required and you can remove it via Add/Remove programs

Recommendation: Not required - typically infrequently used tasks that can be started manually if necessary
