If you could create your own NBA dream team to match up against the more athletic, the more faster, and the more stronger players of today:
Who would be your starting 5 listed by the positions?
Who would be your 2nd team listed by the positions?
Who would be your 3rd team listed by positions?
My first team listed by positions would be
PG-Stephen Curry
SG-Michael Jordan
SF-Lebron James
PF-Tim Duncan
C -Hakeem Olajuwon
My second team listed by positions would be
PG-Tony Parker
SG-Kobe Bryant
SF-Scottie Pippen
PF-Dirk Nowitzki
C-Shaquille O'Neal
My third team listed by positions would be
PG-Chris Paul
SG-Dwayne Wade
SF-Kevin Durant
PF-Kevin Garnett
C-David Robinson
When selecting your teams remember that for the most part, players have gotten bigger, stronger, faster, and more athletic over the years and decades. The list is to determine how well your team would match up against todays NBA players. Not how they would match up against players from the past.
If you think certain players from the 1950s, 1960s, or 1970s, would fair well against todays bigger, stronger, faster, and more athletic, feel free to put them on your list.
I'll play along, but just for first team:
PG-Earvin "Magic" Johnson
SG-Michael Jordan
SF-Kevin Durant
PF-Charles Barkley
C -Kareem Abdul-Jabaar
Kevin Durant
James Harden
Russell Westbrook
Anthony Davis
Rudy Gobert
@Real Music,
I'm pretty sure that my team would kick all of these alleged dream team's asses.
Power forward: Superman
Small forward: Flash
Center: J’onn J’onzz, aka Martian Manhunter
Shooting guard: Wonder Woman
Point guard: Batman
@chirchri,
I have only one: Kevin Durant. That’s the only reason I watch the Warriors play while my wife is watching.
PG -- Magic Johnson
SG -- Magic Johnson
SF -- Magic Johnson
PF -- Magic Johnson
C -- Magic Johnson
...because I heard somewhere he could play every position.

I think they met in the Finals in the mid-90's.
I seem to recall your first team's center's team winning 4-zip against your second team's center.

@Real Music,

Jimmy Kimmel imitating Karl Malone (On second thought no.) Actually I don't even like basketball. I like watching Karl Malone sit down and talk about things though.
@BartSimpsons,
What about John Stockton?
@Real Music,
For starters, leaving Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Jerry West, Oscar Robertson, Magic Johnson and Larry Bird off of all 3 teams is a major error - not to mention, quite short-sighted. These particular players could play in any era.
Honorable mention: Allen "The Answer" Iverson
@Ragman,
We already have the NBA dream team: They're called the GS Warriors.
@Ragman,
We can use "good luck."
