Will I be DQ'D FROM MEPS

I have a few scars on my lower arm that can be considered self harm. I told my recruiter it was from me playing out side one day with some friends trying to I fell and it ended up with this nasty scar(didn't really go into detail.). What will happen if I go to meps? My mom told me not to worry about it but I'm freaking out because I really want to join the military, for guidance, stability, to better myself and to serve my country. I'm not suicidal or in no way mentally challenged.
